LEO-1993 just joined us from a distant galaxy, where he previously worked in construction, demolition and law enforcement. We invited him to tell us about his experience joining Lands’ End Business. Here’s what he had to say after his first day on the job.
“Joining Lands’ End Business has been the best career move I’ve made in eons. I’m much happier here than in my previous employment. Everything is much better: compensation and benefits, opportunities for advancement, and of course being able to work out in the campus gym. But most of all, the work environment is so much more relaxed. At my previous employer, the boss made us all feel like we were in a death grip.”
“The dining options here are excellent. Much better than space rations or desert planet cantina menus.”
“I love taking calls and answering questions from customers, and I appreciate that I can resolve any issues for them right away. This morning someone called and said ‘Lands’ End Business, please help me. You’re our only hope!’ I was able to find what her company needed and get the order shipped out for delivery within 12-15 parsecs.”
“This place is amazing. We don’t have this kind of technology where I come from. It's also nice to work for an organization that isn't trying to destroy the planet.”
“I’ve already taken on a leadership role in generating ideas and moving the brand forward. Here I’m explaining new customer acquisition projects on the outer rim, including nine planets that desperately need an outfitting style update.”
"I love my coworkers. They're fun and outgoing, and helping me get used to the daily routine. Heck, I might even develop a personality. This morning I helped my friend Chris get up to speed on the intergalactic laser ball championship."
“I love how at Lands’ End Business I can really be myself. I fit in, but I can still be unique."
"I hope you enjoyed today as much as I did. By the way, this polo is awesome. Looks great, fits great, and has incredible moisture-wicking fabric, so I stay comfortable all day. I've even called up some of my old coworkers to drum up some business. They just placed an order for 17 million of them in Imperial Black."
A big thank you to LEO-1993 AKA Nick Schlavensky. He's a real trooper.
